For the past 15 years David has been telling traditional stories for people of all ages in all sorts of places – theatres, community centres, castles, parks, libraries and schools throughout Wales, as well as at international festivals.
With an animated physical style linked to a lively use of English language, and a wide repertoire of folk tales from around the world, he is particularly interested in using stories to celebrate cultural diversity and explore ethical values and global citizenship.
David was a founder of Beyond The Border Wales International Storytelling Festival and has been its Director since 1993. He is also a member of Tales From Beyond the Border storytelling company, and Tellor, music and stories of Wales, with Lynne Denman, Delyth Jenkins and Peter Stacey.
